Bright Festival, Brussels’ festival of lights, returns from 13 to 16 February to warm hearts and light up evenings in the depths of winter. Two routes will invite the public to rediscover some of the capital’s most emblematic locations in a new light, through some twenty installations by national and international artists.
And that’s not all! Events will also be organised in the museums and shops along the routes, to brighten up these four already brilliant evenings.
Bright Festival will be illuminating the capital from 13 to 16 February 2025. For this year’s event, a number of districts will be under the spotlight through two routes: Royal and European.

Enjoy a nocturnal stroll punctuated by majestic, immersive and poetic works from national and international artists. It offers a welcome break from the dark winter evenings.
The Kids Zone Once again, this year, the festival will be offering a dedicated zone for children. It will welcome the youngest visitors with specially adapted facilities and activities so that they too can enjoy the show to its fullest.

Numerous activities Visitors of all ages will be sure to find something to their liking, with light installations, museum activities, shop open days and guided tours. This night-time exploration of the capital’s streets promises a truly multi-sensory experience.
Here’s a sneak preview of some of the most emblematic places in Brussels that will be showcased during the festival. The Pavilion of Human Passions, a veritable jewel of Brussels’ heritage, will be opening its doors once again for the duration of the festival, with an installation designed to highlight its most beautiful features.
The Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula, Brussels Park and the House of European History will also be transformed by dazzling works of art. Not to mention the esplanade of the Cité Administrative, a new addition to the route, which boasts a breathtaking view of the capital.

An initiative of the Brussels-Capital Region, Brussels Mobility. visit.brussels is responsible for coordinating this event in the heart of the capital.
