After a successful hybrid edition of Conventa Best Event Award 2021, we are calling for entries in 2022. We are once again looking for unicorns – the best events in the region of New Europe. You are invited to register your live, online or hybrid event for CONVENTA BEST EVENT AWARD 2022. Projects that were carried out from 1 January 2021 until 15 July 2022 are eligible to register for the award.

What is Conventa Best Event Award?

Conventa Best Event Award is an annual competition that awards the best events in the region of New Europe. The competition was established as part of the Conventa brand. For the past six years, the grand finale of the competition has been taking place at the Conventa Crossover conference. The evaluation of registered events follows a unique 80:20 model (80% of the votes come from the jury and 20% from the audience at the Conventa Crossover conference).

How does the competition take place?

In the first phase of evaluation, the jury carries out a pre-selection of the registered projects and chooses the semi-finalists. In the second phase, all members of the jury panel evaluated each project according to the following criteria: creativity, relevance, innovation, execution, event results, event communication, sustainable policies, legacy, and overall final impression. Based on the evaluated criteria, projects exceeding the threshold are moved into the finals. The finalists present their projects live at Conventa Crossover. Attendees are able to support their favourite event agency by joining the live voting session and contributing 20% to the final score.

  • CBEA22 Registration Deadline: 15 July 2022
  • CBEA22 Material Submission: 29 July 2022
  • Announcement of The Finalists: 5 August 2022
  • Presentation of Finalists: 25 August 2022
  • Award Ceremony: 26 August 2022

HOW TO APPLY

First step: Registration

Please use the on-line registration form below and select the preferred way of payment. The fee for registering one entry to the competition includes participation at Conventa Crossover 2022 that will be held in HYBRID FORM from 26 to 27 August 2022.

Second step: Submission of materials

When the registration is submitted, you can enter the details about your event and all materials. Deadline for submission of materials is 29 JULY 2022.

You can apply with your event in the main categories: B2B, B2C, B2I and Crossover, whether it be a live, hybrid, digital or virtual event.

THE JURY

INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS FROM THE FIELD OF EVENT ORGANISATION

The jury consists of 17 members who participate and have equal votes in evaluating the submitted entries. Every member of the jury makes their decision individually on the basis of their expert knowledge, reputation and authority. Each member also has the right to raise objections and questions, as well as an obligation to explain the scores given when evaluating entries to receive the main award. The work of the jury is planned and monitored by a representative of the organisational board of the Conventa Best Event Award.
